Boca Raton is a small airport with only one runway, 3 GPS approaches as well as one VOR/DME-A approach making Boca not an ideal airport for instrument training.
When we prepare our students for their instrument rating (IFR rating) in Pompano Beach we fly all approaches ranging from ILS approaches, Localizer approaches, GPS approaches and VOR approaches.
Boca Raton Airport has a control tower and is located just north of Pompano Beach Airpark and just to the south of Palm Beach Intl. airport.
